“The unconscious always tries to produce an impossible situation in order to force the individual to bring out his very best. Where one has to renounce one’s own will, wit and do nothing but wait, to trust the impersonal power of growth and development. When you are up against a wall, be still and put down roots like a tree, until clarity comes from deeper sources to see over the wall”

C.G Jung, Dreams, Memories & Reflection

Terms of Depth Work

Entering long-term therapy is a significant commitment. These terms set the ground for our work together, protecting both the depth of the process and the integrity of the therapeutic space. Kindly take the time to read them carefully.

By entering therapy you are agreeing to these terms.

1. Framework

Depth Work is grounded in depth psychology, held within a Jungian and archetypal framework. Work is guided by the unconscious — dreams, shadow, and symbolic material. Archetypal astrology provides an orienting compass for the therapist, but is not used for predictive consultation. How and when chart material enters the work is at the discretion of the therapist

2. The Nature of the Work

The direction of the process is given by the psyche itself, not by the conscious will of client or therapist. This is deep, slow work — often uncomfortable, and it unfolds as the psyche requires. Entering therapy means entering a journey without fixed timelines; it takes as long as it takes

3. Commitment & Practicalities

  • Sessions are weekly, at a mutually agreed time.

  • Duration: up to 75 minutes. Time beyond this serves neither therapist nor client.

  • Format: online only — no in-person sessions are possible.

  • Consistency is essential. Showing up for your session = showing up for yourself.

4. Attendance, Reschedules & Cancellations

  • If you cannot attend, please inform at least 24 hours in advance by email or WhatsApp.

  • Sessions are held at the same weekly time. This consistency is part of the therapeutic frame.

  • Frequent changes or requests for alternate times cannot be accommodated

  • Failure to arrive within 10 minutes of the scheduled start means the session is forfeited. Forfeited sessions are billed.

5. Communication outside sessions

  • Therapy belongs in the session itself. Out-of-session WhatsApp messages or phone calls are discouraged, except in genuine emergencies.

  • For practical matters (scheduling, fees, clarifications), I respond within 24 hours on working days (Mon–Fri, 10am–6pm IST).

  • Emotional material is best kept and brought into the therapy space, where it can be worked with in depth.

  • In moments of strong emotional reaction between sessions, I encourage you to journal and bring the material into therapy. This has greater value than dispersing it outside.

  • You can also schedule an additional session, if you feel there is a strong need to meet.

6. Dreams

Dreams are a vital part of depth work.

  • Write them down as soon as you wake, with no edits or interpretations.

  • Even fragments (images, words, feelings) are valuable.

  • Typically, the last 20 minutes of a session are devoted to dream exploration.

  • Dreams must be sent in writing at least 24 hours before the session. Dreams shared only orally in session cannot be worked with in depth.

7. Creative Material

Drawings, poems, images, or other symbolic expressions that arise are welcome in the space.

8. Fees & Payment

  • Invoices are issued on the 1st of the month; payment is due by the 5th.

  • Resident Fees = 4000 INR/Non resident 100 USD per session, billed monthly

  • Payment in advance secures your session time for the month. Payment methods include for residents in India UPI/Bank Transfer and for residents outside India, Paypal.

  • Notes regarding additional or missed sessions are detailed in the invoice covering note.

  • Closing therapy requires at least two weeks’ notice; the last paid invoice will be adjusted accordingly.

9. Process Reviews & Written Reflections

  • At regular points, we will pause to reflect on how the process is working for both client and therapist.

  • At approximately one year into therapy, you will be invited to complete a written reflection. This is not an evaluation of success or failure, but an opportunity to gather what has been discovered and to language the often-invisible movements of depth work.

  • When therapy comes to a close, you will again be invited to reflect in writing. These reflections may take the form of a letter to me, but more importantly, they are a letter to yourself — a way of recognizing and integrating what has unfolded.

  • Prompts will be provided as guides, but they are not rules. The reflections are invitations, not requirements.

10. Pausing or Ending Therapy

  • If you need to pause therapy for any reason (financial, life circumstances, readiness), please communicate this as soon as possible. We will explore what's underneath the impulse to pause and, if it's truly necessary, we'll find an appropriate stopping point.

  • Ending therapy requires at least two weeks' notice so we can close the work consciously.

  • If you stop attending without communication, I will reach out twice. After that, your space is released.

  • In rare cases, I may need to end our work together (boundary violations, lack of engagement, or if I feel I'm not the right therapist for you). If this happens, I'll discuss it with you directly and support you in finding another resource if appropriate.

11. The Therapy Space

Our meetings are held online, but the environment you choose on your side matters. Please join from a space where you can be present, where we can hear each other clearly, and where the conversation can remain private. This means a setting that allows meaningful work to take place. Sessions must be taken from a private, quiet space where you can be fully present and our conversation remains confidential. Public spaces (cafes, cars, offices with others present) are not appropriate for this work.

By beginning, you are entering a shared commitment: to meet your psyche with honesty, to bring dreams and symbolic material, and to create space for your own growth.

Thank you for reading. I look forward to being an ally in your journey toward consciousness.
