“A man who is unconscious of himself acts in a blind, instinctive way, and is, in addition, fooled by all the illusions that arise when he sees everything that he is not conscious of in himself coming to meet him from outside as projections upon his neighbour

Carl Jung, Aion (1951)

Is Depth Work For You?

Depth work is long-term, weekly therapeutic engagement for those ready to meet the psyche’s depths.
This is not consultation. It is not advice. It is descent—working with dreams, shadow, body, and what arises from the unconscious over time.
It is also a return to yourself—an integration, a movement toward wholeness.

This work is slow. Demanding. It asks for commitment, courage, and the willingness to face what has been avoided.
If you’re seeking quick relief, coping strategies, or behavioral fixes, this is not the right container.

If you’re ready to go down—to meet what’s hidden and engage with your psyche, continue.

What this work is

Depth work rests on the principle that healing does not happen quickly or at the surface. It asks us to slow down—to stay with what emerges and follow what needs attention.

We meet weekly. We work with what arises: dreams, body sensations, shadow material, the patterns that repeat, the wounds that resist understanding.

The work is individual to each person. What psyche asks for shapes how we proceed. Sometimes that means direct perspective; sometimes, sitting in silence.

The archetypal map (your birth chart) stays in the background. It informs my understanding but does not direct the work. This is psyche-led. We follow what wants to be seen, not what I think should be explored.

This is not advice-giving or behavioral coaching. I’m not here to fix you or tell you what to do. But I’m also not passive—if something needs to be named, I’ll name it. If a pattern repeats, we’ll look at it together.

The work is mutual. I meet you in the material as it unfolds. Healing opens in the space between us, as we both stay in relationship with what your psyche brings.

What this requires

Weekly commitment — Consistency is essential. Psyche needs the reliable container.

Dream work — If you remember dreams, you bring them. We work with what the unconscious offers.

Engagement between sessions — Journaling, sitting with what arises, active imagination. The work happens between our meetings as much as in them.

Tolerance for discomfort and not-knowing — Psyche moves at its own pace. This is not linear. You won't always understand what's happening while it's happening.

Honesty — With yourself, with me, with what shows up. No performing, no hiding.

Long-term view — This is transformation over time, not crisis intervention. A minimum commitment of 2 years allows the work to open.

  • Consultation offers orientation. Therapy invites transformation.

Consultation helps you see—to name and understand the patterns shaping your life. We work with archetypal insight and symbolic perspective to bring clarity. It gives you clarity and direction.

In therapy, we meet what emerges. We contact it directly—through dreams, body, shadow, and what arises from the psyche itself. The archetypal map is kept in the background, in service to the psyche's own unfolding. This is not about understanding from outside—it's about encountering what's within. This is serious work that requires long term commitment.

Therapy is the slow work of relationship—with your own depths, over time.

Encounters with the psyche are never neat. These reflections carry the struggle, the descent, and the slow work of becoming.

Ready to Begin ?

Depth work is long-term weekly engagement. Before we begin, I need to understand where you are and whether this work is right for you.

If you're ready to explore working together, reach out via the form below. I'll send you an intake form. After reviewing your responses, we may begin with an initial consultation to assess fit, or proceed directly to ongoing work if the match is clear.

I work with a small number of clients and am selective about fit.

If you're not ready yet but want to understand my work more deeply, you can read my substack where I explore archetypal patterns and processes of psychological transformation, where meaning becomes alive in the body.
