At Depth Therapeutics, every turning point is an invitation—when life unravels or meaning slips away, the psyche begins to speak

This practice works at life's thresholds—moments of rupture, crisis, or transition when the unconscious presses into life. Change begins when what lies beneath is given form and meaning through symbolic engagement

Philosophical Pillars

Depth Therapeutics rests on three commitments that shape the ground of all its work:

  • Suffering as the ground of transformation—the willingness to stay with what wounds until its meaning reveals itself.

  • Fidelity to psyche's unfolding—honoring the intelligence that moves through dreams, images, and the body rather than imposing method.

  • Symbolic and embodied integration—the slow work of translating insight into lived, embodied life within a container strong enough to hold conflict and renewal.

Initiation

My path to this work was not chosen but called. At age seven, I encountered the psyche's intensity within my family through an experience of schizophrenia—brought face to face with fragmentation, mania, and the violent intensity of what moves beneath consciousness. While traumatic, it was also an initiation: a visceral understanding that the psyche holds both destructive and creative power.

In early adulthood, another threshold arrived. A collapse into depression dismantled the structures I had built, leading to a profound encounter with the deeper architecture of the psyche itself. I was emptied of my former self before slowly settling into a new ground. In that encounter, I recognized what Jung would later give language to: the transcendent function, the psyche's capacity to mediate between opposites and generate transformation.

These two initiations—one marking me for life, the other transforming me irrevocably—became the foundation of my vocation. For more than twenty years since, I have followed the movement of psyche wherever it led, seeking language and form for what I had lived. Thirteen years of Jungian analysis, training in somatic practice, and sustained archetypal study gave me a map to navigate the depths. The psyche speaks in images, symbols, and bodily feeling. When these are welcomed, transformation follows.

Throughout this time, I have worked in the liminal space between conscious and unconscious—facilitating dialogue, holding what emerges, helping others recognize and integrate what their psyche is pressing into life. This ground comes from having met my own psyche with steadiness, honesty, and faith.

What continues to guide me after two decades is devotion—to what is real, to what the psyche reveals when we are willing to listen, and to helping others find their own ground in that truth.

My Practice

Two decades of living and working with these realities have shaped me into a practitioner grounded in depth and discernment. Clients consistently describe my presence as both anchoring and incisive—a steady container that does not waver, and at the same time one that challenges illusions and invites deeper courage.

About Reshma

I am based in Bangalore, having spent much of my life across cultures. Outside my practice, I move at a slower pace—walking, writing, reading, time with close friends. I work with my hands: painting, shaping clay, cooking as a form of intimacy. I am a serial journaller and dream catcher, drawn to the simplicity and beauty of everyday life. For me, the divine lives quietly in the ordinary.
